National Apology Website will be decommissioned and replaced by the Australian Government response website on 2nd of September-2019

The National Apology to Victims and Survivors of Institutional Child Sexual Abuse (National Apology) website will be decommissioned on Monday 2 September 2019.

Information about the National Apology is now available on the website for the Australian Government Response to the Royal Commission. This site also includes a selection of images from the National Apology event held on 22 October 2018 at Parliament House, Canberra, and memorabilia items which are available for order. Information will also be forthcoming on this site about the consultation process for the National Memorial for victims and survivors of child sexual abuse in institutional contexts and how to participate.

The Australian Government Response website is the central resource for survivors and victims of institutional child sexual abuse, their families and supporters, governments, institutions and members of the public. It provides access to key information about what the Australian Government is doing to respond to the recommendations made by the Royal Commission.

To receive information about national progress on the implementation of recommendations of the Royal Commission into Institutional Responses to Child Sexual Abuse (Royal Commission), please subscribe to the Child Abuse Royal Commission Response website mailing list.
