Sorry Day May 26th KSGAC promotions and education stall well supported.

In one morning more than 70 people approached our team during the National Sorry Day Promotion and education stall in Broome.

The wider community is gaining a deeper understanding of National Sorry Day held on May 26th and commemoration activities have taken place around Australia.

For our team the evidence of just how many are now taking a unified approach could be witnessed when people simply purchased a flower, offered a smile or shared a story over the significance of the day with staff and stolen generation members at theĀ  stall.

Here are some of our staff who sold many Stolen Generation Sorry Day Flowers to the community.

KSGAC CEO Tania Bin Bakar, Link-up Team Leader Pauline McKenzie, Redress Officer Hayati Jaffrey and Link-Up Case Worker Rosie Wade.
